When he's not turning festival appearances into minor emotional breakdowns or fighting with Atalanta's greatest punk band Black Lips, Wavves like to write super catchy, scratchy anthems like this. Only he's never written anything half as good as 'Post Acid' and chances are he won't again. So live in the moment and turn this up loud because, and make no bones about it, this is Wavves hitting his peak and it sounds glorious.

Introducing... Wavves

Call it noise-pop, call it Smellcore, call it whatever- LA is producing some of the best bands in the world right now. Now set to join the list of aluminaries alongside Abe Vigoda, Mika Miko and No Age is Wavves.

Inspired by the likes of Pavement and Sonic Youth, Wavves lo-fi pop is an enticing mix of distorted feedback and scuzzy harmonies combining to create a series of infectious anthems. Already much hyped by numerous blogs and Pitchfork in the US Wavves comes to Britian in March to tour with fellow newcomers Pens.
