Tomorrow you will be able to get your hands on brand new releases by the likes of Blur, Crystal Castles, Pulled Apart By Horses, Beach House, Rolling Stones and many, many more as part of Record Store Day which is taking place across Britain and America.

As good as all this will be it seems sad that we need to have a day to remind people to visit their local record shop. It's like having a National Sleep day, it's just the normal and right way of doing things. Still, if we get to hear a whole host of exclusive new stuff then it'd be silly to complain.

Something that is not new but still well worth a listen is this track from The Big Pink. It appears on 4AD's contribution to Record Store Day as a 12" alongside tracks from Tuneyards and Blonde Redhead.
