Veronica Falls have risen Lazarus like from the ashes of Your Twenties and The Royal We and their mix of classic pop melodies and boy/ girl interaction makes for a twee but arch sound that is equal parts Camera Obscura and The Cure. I somehow managed to listen to their song ‘Beachy Head’ more times in a month than I did anything else all year . Not much is known about any future plans but there are rumours of a forthcoming single release on the Captured Tracks label, an album produced by metronomy's Joe Mount and a confirmed forthcoming support slot with the thoroughly brilliant Vivian Girls.
