The XX- 'Basic Space'

The XX, having already released one of the best singles of the year in 'Crystalised', are back with another single as well as announcing their debut album details.

'Basic Space' is the bands most purest moment to date, a brittle and stripped well of introspection fully embracing the bands much talked about r'n'b influences. So tranquil is it that you can forget it's even playing as it floats ethereally. Clich the BBC player above to hear the track in full.

On August 17th will release their self titled, self produced debut album. Recorded in the tiny studio at their label XL Recordings HQ it promises to be one of the most anticipated albums of 2009. The tracklisting is as follows:
