Teeth - See Spaces (Visions Of Trees Remix)

There seem to be a LOT of remixes of this new Teeth track floating around (also worth a look is the Becoming Real mix over on Myspace) but Visions Of Trees continue to impress with their re-rub of the track that is finally seeing Teeth achieving their potential and, ahem, coming through.

Taking the shattered glass of the original and piecing it back together, VofT's give the track some muscle with a monumental groove and healthy dose of vocal distortion adding to the party. Together a range of chaotic sounds find their individual places and create a wave on which everything rides. Play it now, play it loud.

Visions Of Trees - Kings

Visions of Trees posted this on their blog the other day, an early indication into where the pair are headed in the follow up to their recent EP Sometimes It Kills. 'Kings' pushes the pop envelope and allows the experimental side of the band to take a back seat. With big hooks and a shuntering beat rolling throughout it's a bold sound for an act looking increasingly likely to deliver something truly epic.

Visions of Trees - Cult of Cobras

Visions of Trees might be based in London but their roots are that bit more rustic. Their blend of ethereal dream weaving and loose-fit percussion combine on 'Cult Of Cobras', taken from their forthcoming EP 'Sometimes It Kills'. The duo recently toured with Memory Tapes and you can sense a fellow kinship with his style of watery, laid-back atmospherics in VofT's high rising sounds. Even indie-pop wizards Everything Everything have got involved, getting the band to remix their new single 'Schoolin'.
