Klaxons - Flashover

And so here it is, the first glimpse of new Klaxons material since they turned the world neon over two years ago. Flashover is a sideways shimmy rather than a giant leap forward musically with producer Ross Robinson's metal credentials coaxing out the inner thrash from the London trio. It's hard to judge Klaxons music objectively with the ghosts of made up genres, industry rumours jostling for position alongside their canny knack for carving out huge pop songs from the deep crevasses of art rock. What can be said for certain however is that it's good to have them back andFlashover is going to sound massive live.
